Hello I am Daniel, I represent the Penhill and Upper Stratton Ward. The reason I applied to be an Independent for Swindon Borough Council is because I feel that the current restrictions are getting beyond what is democratic and are slowly stripping away our civil liberties. I feel that this will be a great opportunity to give a voice to those people that feel they are opposed to these restrictions and need a platform to voice these thoughts and also a platform for myself to do so. I also want to build a community spirit in our local areas which I feel is essential during these unprecedented times.
